Penny Lee is an Emmy Award-winning television and film editor with over 25 years experience and has contributed to programming on National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Travel Channel, TLC, PBS, HGTV, US Army, US Navy, and many other corporate and government agencies.

 

Her background encompasses a wide range of video and television projects, including short and long form documentaries films, reality TV, promotional, educational, government, commercial, and entertainment programs. 

 

She is an expert and highly skilled on HD editing systems such as the Avid Media Composer, Adrenaline, and Final Cut Pro. 

 

Penny has also worked on a few independent documentary films, THE CHILDREN WE SACRIFICE and CRUCIBLE OF WAR, films that depict the harshness of life on the other side of the globe.   These films were screened at film festivals around the world. 

 

Penny is an editor, but also a storyteller that can take a client’s vision and create a production that meets all demands.  In addition, Penny has produced and edited two documentaries of her own, THE CYC EXPERIENCE, which highlights the story of a local Asian-American immigrants’ social organization, and for Back Bay Mission, BRINGING HOPE HOME, a promotional/informational documentary of the only ministry in Biloxi, MS, that is still trying to rebuild areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
