Balance is what I try to achieve. I try to see the big picture and bring together disparate elements into a seamless whole.
In 1984, my career began as a Television Production Specialist at the Department of Navy where I was cutting 16mm film on a Steenbeck Flatbed Editing Table. Until the introduction of non-linear editing systems, films were edited with these devices. Each edit required a splice and tape. Simple re-editing would be messy, costly and time consuming.
In the early 90’s, I decided to learn Avid Media Composer and in 1994, I resigned from the Navy Department and started my own business as a freelance television and film editor. I have honed my skills as an independent and creative thinker who can work independently or with a producer. I am passionate about my work and take pride in every project I take on. My primary goal when editing a show is to make sure it tells a good story. I am a fast learner and a team player.
My credits include long form and short form documentaries, reality-TV series, promotional and informational videos for government and corporate companies in broadcast and non-broadcast industries.
Client satisfaction is my top priority. Let my talents work for you!
